Why do I say popular and being hotly discussed? This is because this dam has a very beautiful view, it is located far from the noise of the city and away from the hustle and bustle of the noise, there is no air pollution and smoke, no traffic jams, it can be said that this place is still very natural and beautiful. untouched by the ignorance of human hands that destroy nature.
So what brought me here...?
Actually my arrival here without any planning and unexpected, suddenly my wife told me that there would be a tourist adventure from hive members from aceh who are members of the nature lovers group, and my wife joined in it, but my wife told me to replace him, of course I welcome him very happily, I will meet great people who have joined hive for a long time, especially since I have been taking care of my wife's account
On the night before departure, I was busy preparing supplies and looking for information on where to go for the adventure that was told by my wife, it turned out that from the google map alone I was very impressed by the natural beauty of the place I was going to visit.
Through the google map, I just found out that the place I was going was a very beautiful dam and was viral on social media in Aceh.
The place is located in a remote village, the name of the village is SAWANG, this village which is located at the end of the north aceh district, turns out to save a thousand beauties that I did not know before.
After meeting with friends at the appointed place, we all numbered more than twenty people, I forgot to count the exact number, we went straight to the dam which is said to be also awaited by the demons and swallowed a lot of souls.
Arriving at the dam we were headed for, I myself couldn't say a word, what came out of my mouth was THIS is Heaven on Earth.
when we arrived at our destination we were all busy with our respective cellphone cameras, all busy capturing the beautiful scenery.
I also took some direct views once I parked my vehicle.
Oh yes, for those of you who have never been here, I suggest you should visit this place, at least feel for yourself the enchanting heaven and natural world.
If you visit here, you don't need to worry, because in this place parking is provided where you can store vehicles safely and free of charge.
Indeed, the parking lot is not as luxurious as in cities, or tourist attractions that cost a lot of money, but the place is still very natural that makes this unique.
After parking the vehicle and taking some photos, we some people went to look for firewood to cook the goat curry which had been prepared by the committee..
Some people go down to the river to look for firewood that is carried away by the water, and some people also take stones to be used as a place to cook, this is very natural, from nature for humans.
The committee has also determined who will be the cook in charge of cooking the goats, but because I'm not an expert in that field, I just took some pictures while they were cooking.
Some of my friends make cucumber water to drink together when eating, because according to a myth in aceh, after eating goat, you have to drink cucumber water in order to control high blood pressure, as well as cholesterol, so you shouldn't miss cucumber water.
After the goat curry was ready to be cooked, we all ate the goat curry together.
Indeed, goat curry is not a foreign thing, but what makes it delicious is togetherness, we ate goat curry while joking together.
After eating together, it was time for the long-awaited moment to come, namely bathing in the river.
We bathe under the dam, in a place where the water is not deep, only about 1 meter, because according to the villagers who came with us, if we bathe in a deep place, namely above the dam, it is dangerous, the water is very deep, about 5 meters, even said this dam have claimed many lives.
From home I also brought toiletries for bathing, in the form of a swimsuit, also not forgetting diving goggles.
The water in the dam is very clean and cold, I can only soak in the water for 15 minutes, after which my body shivers with cold.
oh yes friends, I suggest you if you visit here to bring swimming goggles, because you can see various fish between the rocks which are very beautiful.
This dam is also very suitable to be used as a fishing spot, some of us even go fishing.
After I was satisfied with my bath, I went back up the hill to take some more pictures, it turned out that taking pictures from the top of the hill also looked more beautiful.
At the end of our trip because it was late, we all took pictures together as a memory.
