The lesser whitethroat (Sylvia curruca)

Unlike other birds of a genus, this whitethroat is for some reason not numerous. Last year I met her twice, in different parts on the outskirts of the city. This year I have not met a single one.
Most likely this is due to its great pickiness to the habitat. These birds mainly nest in coniferous forests, when we do not have them on the outskirts.

The bird is very restless, constantly on the move, jumping on branches and shouting or muttering softly.
She feeds,of course, insects, and with the beginning of autumn it can add berries to her diet. And before the cold, she flies away for the winter. In Siberia, they fly away in August.
