How about red birds?

Bullfinch

Of course, the first thing that comes to mind when thinking of red birds is the male bullfinch. They look especially clear in winter against the backdrop of white snow.

alt

Crossbill

The males of these birds are also red. They rarely appear in my city, and this is due to the nut harvest.

Uragus

Or Long-tailed Bullfinch. Although it doesn't belong to the bullfinch genus, it's actually a member of the genus Rosefinch. It can be found in autumn and winter along rivers and (surprisingly) railway lines.

Rosefinch

Males of this red sparrow (as they were called in the old days) aren't always so beautiful and red. It depends on their age. Young birds have brown plumage, but the older they get, the richer and brighter their pink plumage becomes.
