The most common and numerous forest birds, which, in addition to forests, also live in city parks, groves, and courtyards. They can be found at any time, anywhere. They are the instigators (the core) of mixed bird flocks in autumn and winter, gathering other wintering birds around themselves so that they can then fly together through the forests in search of food.
They feed mainly on insects, which they collect from the surface of tree bark, leaves, etc. They also eat plant foods, seeds and nuts.
