馃 The Eurasian siskin (Spinus spinus)

These yellow birds are true travelers. As soon as their young grow up, they begin their migrations through the forests. They live primarily in coniferous forests. They are sedentary birds, but they prefer to leave my region for as far away as possible, as it gets very cold here in winter.
However, there are times when, for some reason, a siskin fails to fly away with the rest of the flock, and then in late autumn and winter it joins the arriving redpolls, which are closely related to siskins, but from the north.
