Mangroves prevent erosion by stabilizing sediments with their tangled root systems and maintain water quality. In addition, mangroves serve as nurseries for young creatures giving them food and refuge from predation.
One of our activities as volunteers of COI is Mangrove Planting to show our love and respect to mother nature.
