Keeping aside the fact that you are actually earning money for voicing your thoughts and sharing your ideas, Steemit has also developed as a great medium of sharing different cultures. Unlike other social media sites, people on Steemit actually try to share their culture, knowledge, talents, ideas, etc. Another very impressive fact about Steemitians is that they look out for each other. It's such a welcoming community and even if you are new, you wouldn't feel it as they allow everyone to showcase their talents.
I have been here for a week and truthfully I am not that active, but whenever I post something, people are there to encourage me which gives me more incentive to write. For a person like me who is not really into social media, Steemit has proved to be completely different. I love sharing my ideas here and telling people about the places I have visited. It's very exciting. I love the fact that people are actually enjoying with you and take their time out to comment and upvote on your post. You can say that Steemit is your chat group of friends where you can share anything and where you know that you will always be encouraged.
If you are new, don't be afraid. You will never realize when you became so addicted to this community. Kudos to Steemit:)
