During the telephone conversation, the Turkish president congratulated the Iranian people and government on celebrating the 39th anniversary of the Islamic revolution and urged Tehran to step up their relations. He also stressed the importance of business transactions between the two countries to their own currency, which will lead to major improvements in both countries.
In addition, President Erdoğan referred to the Syrian meeting in Sochi, Russia, and invited Iranian President to attend the upcoming tripartite Istanbul Conference. Earlier, Erdogan spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin over the phone. But it is not yet known when the tripartite meeting will be held.
