Hi friends and steemians.
This is part of a recent set of posts that has been focusing on what many are starting to call as a #newsteem and looking at the @whatsup's post for the new steem slogan and using the #steemthepulseofcrypto tag you can also participate with your own.
Thinking about how this can set a new beginning for the whole community and platform and myself trying to focus on what I care the most I feel the slogan should be something like this: steem the crypto playground. I'm not trying to take away most of steem value itself but I feel that it was those environments like sandbox where you get your hands dirty and learn the hard way. Keep your keys safe and this must be something you start caring more in any other project, learning what to do with crypto like funding and supporting different projects and initiatives, you can also get yourself into trading or at least learn and share your thoughts about the markets with like minded people in platforms like @steem.leo so it can also be the bridge from many new users to different tokens, coins and projects but specially knowledge. I can be the door or entry point that allows you to experience a journey that will take you to different paths depending on what you are looking for. It is this free experience that can convert you to a better version of yourself and even see the other things that you might not like or agree with but will let you grow tolerance and be a better human being.
In the bid-bots topic, I must admit that I felt that there was nothing else I could do to grow and that as many other users had grown exponentially and I couldn't keep up with their pace. Many users left as well so the matter is that it helped a few users to get visibility and grow like crazy and some others were left disappointed and wondering if this was the kind of platform or social community they want in their lives. My hope is that with the recently implemented changes many users will find again the pleasure to curate, interact and specially engage in the platform and bid-bots will for the good stop being abused for not good quality content and instead as someone else suggested turn into curation projects.
Anyways I'm just trying to give my thoughts on the recent posts I've read and I believe momentum is being created and if we can sustain this move it will effectively add many new users trying and aiming for the #newsteem hoping for a better future to the platform.
