This has really made parents detest their kids at some point, also some forced their child to be who there are not supposed to be..
Babies can never be the same, their growth and development mostly, a child of 3 might grow bigger than some etc..
As parents, we must understand that our child is unique, special, and skilled in his own way.
Actually this should be known by parents, your child is your child and he/she shouldn't be like anyone else, either by size, completion and development..
When we compare our children to others, we are actually putting a lot of pressure on them to do things beyond their capability. This pressure keeps building on the child, some are able to perform while others are not. And when they don't perform, there is a feeling of disappointment.
I experienced this when I was younger, my dad always use my neighbours child to judge my action and performance, it was so difficult for me that I started imitating all the things the boy does..
When I'm back from school my dad insists I stay indoors because he is on, when he is playing in will come out to play, the worst part is that i read because he is reading and I might not be concentrating but I just want my dad to see me holding a book but the end result always judge, I still score less in class....
My mum helped out because she made things easy for me, making everything fun and then I was doing things at my own pace...
It's very necessary we understand our children and know who they are and encourage them...
