I will use an office for illustration, most employees go for a job just because of the money, the money is good but what do you have to offer...

When you focus on impact, you get more than what quantity can give.. Imagine a workers earning $2000 while another is earning $500, the person earning lesser might be making good impact in the company, doing things to make the company grow and develop while the other works just for the money...
There is a possibility that the person earning lesser will earn more in the future than the person earning bigger and his services might not be needed again...

I put my focus on impact while I strive for the result which will be in quantity.
