One of the FTC robotics teams I mentor has made it to the Oregon State Championships which is taking place this weekend at Liberty HS in Hillsboro. If anybody is in the Portland area and is interested in some exciting robot action you should stop by on Sunday at 9am. Sunday is open to the public and when the actual matches happen which is the exciting part of the competition. By the time they get to state, the remaining teams have pretty solid and interesting robots. Not to mention Oregon has some of the toughest competition of any state. I am very proud of my team. They have worked very hard to get this far. There are some very smart, hardworking kids there and they give me hope for the future generation.
