A 77 year old Michigan barber has decided to reopen his barber shop in spite of threats from Michigan governor Whitmer. Threatened with fines and the possible loss of his license, Karl Manke responded with a memorable quote, "I'll be here until Jesus walks in or they arrest me". Having been a barber for 60 years, Manke has a lot of support from the neighborhood. As customers continued to come from near and far to support his decision, Manke found himself working 15 hour days. He had been denied unemployment during the shutdown and felt he had no choice but to reopen his business.
