Means of travel by working your butt out through biking. Me and my friends decided to reach Ferrari World Abu Dhabi with a very perspiring goal. Travelling doesn't mean you need to have a car or spend money to buy ticket. It's a matter on how you figure to reach your destination.
Around 5 o'clock in the morning when we reach Al Salama hospital and settled to be our meet up. We chose Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Highway going to Yas Mall, because we figure out that it is not a very busy road. There are only few vehicles that pass and use that road. A mountain bike geared with water is what you need. Don't forget to wear your helmet and safety gears as well. And when the gang was complete, we began our journey.
Is it allowed to pass through that road with just a bike? Yes. You might get apprehended if you will not wear helmet. Just use the extra lane on the right for you not to caught attention. The extra lane is more that 2 meters wide. And when we reach there, we noticed and passed some bikers on that lane.
When we reach the road that is going to Saadiyat we hesitated, then realized that it is towards Saadiyat. Our goal is to reach Ferrari, so, taking the left side will be the right way. Some of us were first timers, so we waited for each others. Some bridges are long and upward, so you may feel the cramps on your legs. When we heard a bike horn or a bell, that means that some of us are left behind. We did some stop over to wait for our colleagues.
The sun is about to rise when we saw the roof of Ferrari World. One shouted! "Hurry up guys! Where about to reach our destination! Being inspired with it, all of us pedaled as fast as we could.
We saw Adnoc and went to a convenience store, our last stop over before reaching Ferrari! We bought water and banana to boost us, before we stretch out to our goal.
And at last we reached our objective. It was 7 o'clock, all of us were exausted, but we know it is worth it.
