I was thinking maybe you're overestimating their competence, but I guess we can't rule anything out at this point. I'm eating crow on things that you sounded the alarm over that seemed implausible to me just a few weeks ago. It was very prescient when you drew a connection between the acquisition of Steemit by Justin Sun and the CCP. In hindsight, this seems to be all but certain and the timing is way too convenient to be a coincidence. They've resorted to DDOS attacks of HIVE according to some sources on Twitter, which goes to show how much of a threat they see it as. They need to shut this down to prevent counter-narrative info from leaking out.

Right now the major social media networks are actively censoring links to even peer-reviewed scientific papers that are counter-narrative. A major publication recently attacked Elon Musk and attempted to associate him with Trump because he said chloroquine was worth looking into. "2 grams could kill you, derp" is what the article amounted to. No mention of the fact that several commonly used over the counter medications have similar levels of lethality. No mention of the fact that it's a prescription-only medication and that doctors probably have a fairly good handle on the proper dosing considering that it's been in common use for over half a century. Google actually censored the document he had stored on Google Docs, probably on copyright grounds. The censorship here in the US is looking a little too much like the early days of the outbreak in China. A little less heavy-handed physically, but mirrored in many other ways. The effort seems to consist of "shut down dissidence at all costs."
