Garmin is known for their GPS devices and they underline with this watch it's independence from having it connected to a smartphone ( you can if you want to)
What I like most about their maps / routing system, when calculating a route it also puts into consideration what other people chose based on their way of transportation. So if someone (local) chooses a to walk a different street to avoid a busy, loud road - they will give you that option as well.
The Fēnix® 5S Plus also measures your heart rate, measures your performance, you can make payments with it and you can load up to 500 song titles for when you're on the road.
