The driver assistance system for people on a low budget. A diving robot which makes you take off your hands from the wheel.
The EON Dashcam DevKit is the center piece of Comma.ai's self driving open project Openpilot 0.5.
You can upgrade any Honday, Toyata and select GM models with autonomous driving with this system. You would also need the Panda Dongle and the Giraffe Bridge.
But then you can set your car to cruise control and the assistant will keep you in the lane and breaks if needed as long as you face forward, since it has a face detection sensor. So if you're distracted or don't look towards the front, the system will give you audio / visual alerts until you pay attention again.
