Greetings friends I have time without writing in the beautiful PH community and I hope to return with all the desire, today I decided to share with you the theme of the book To zero to one is a book written by the co-founder of PayPal Peter Thiel, the idea of the book is to expose the 7 main ideas to start a business.

1-Can you create an important technology instead of just offering an improvement?

This question clearly has to do with engineering, the idea is to create something new as Appel and Microsoft did at the time, the idea is to innovate going beyond what exists.

2-Is it the right time to start your business?

It seems like a generic question, but it refers to whether you are too late or too early to start your business, because you must enter at the exact moment to arise if you arrive on time you can achieve success as in the case of the iphone but if you arrive late you can happen like when Microsoft tried to sell cell phones that was a failure because the market was already dominated

3-Starting with a large part of a small market?

Here Thiel recommends identifying a market and dominating it and then starting the expansion, every start up begins with a small market, we understand that dominating a small market is easier than dominating a large one.

4-Do you have the right talent team?

Here the advice is that at least in the first year of your business you form a team that you know well and that are capable of all going in the same direction

5-How many ways to create and distribute your business?

It is useless to have the best product if you cannot deliver it to your customers, in this sense selling and delivering the product is as important as the product itself

6-Can you defend your market position in 10 or 20 years?

You always have to think about the future there is no point in fighting for something today that will disappear in the future because it will be a waste of time.

7-Have you identified a unique opportunity that others do not see?

This is something that can lead you to success in any business, if you have the vision to see something that others do not have guaranteed success.

Although most of the questions and the book in general are aimed at starting a start up, these concepts can be applied to business and life in general, my favorite part is part 6, I think it is something that I am applying at the moment, well, if something it will not serve me in the future, I prefer not to spend time on it.

Thank you for reading
