Now that we understand the Blue Ocean strategy is, we are going to analyze the strategies proposed in the book. Airbnb is an example of Blue Ocean strategy, before this companies the accommodation business was dominated by hotels but Airbnb revolutionized the business by making people with little money stay in other people's homes or rooms, thus managing to keep a large share of market and created a new sector. The strategies that this book proposes to achieve something like this are:

Study the limits of your current market, you must challenge the rules of your market, eliminate and reduce elements that are not necessary or create new elements that change it completely, you can start from the creation or distribution of the product, you can change the way of sell the product for a simpler one so customers will perceive it as something different.

You must focus on the big picture, do not drown yourself in statistics, you must see the world through the eyes of the customer, that's what Starbucks did began to satisfy customers and achieved success despite selling a more expensive product.

Look beyond the current demand, you should not focus on current or potential customers you have, you should also pay attention to other market segments the company "cirque du soleil" did that stopped focusing on the show for children and focused on in adults, changing the experience and the business.

Define a strategic sequence, we must create a more entertaining experience, you must ask yourself if the prices of your products are accessible, you must ask yourself if it is possible that something prevents the market from buying the product.

Solve obstacles, if you have a company already created you must solve internal problems, such as with the relationship of employees in case you want to change to a blue ocean and they don't want to leave the comfort zone.

Execute innovation as a company strategy, you should not have a small department destined to innovate but make the whole company participate in this.
