Neoxian City Photo Challenge

With these two photos I run in the NEOXIAN CITY PHOTO CHALLENGE - WEEK : #9 photo contest.The theme for this week is boats. I took both photos with a Sony camera with a 35-105mm lens.

I took the pictures in the Orinoco River, a river that divides Venezuela and Colombia, specifically in a small port city called San Fernando de Atabapo. This city is at the confluence of the Orinoco, Guaviare and Atabapo rivers, there are no roads, that is why its inhabitants move entirely in boats.

This first photo I titled "Rainbow in the Orinoco", I took it while walking on the bank of the river at sunset, a beautiful rainbow rose behind an anchored boat, while a family sailed to its destination along the river.

I titled this picture "little water warrior". The Orinoco River is a large river that carries thousands of liters of water constantly, the elevation of the river hid half of a tree that grew next to the rock. I sat watching the sunset and it was when I saw this boy sailing in this small boat, it struck me to see this boy of about 7 or 8 years sailing in his small boat with great security, as if he was returning home at sunset of the day.
