Hello Steemians! rakerumon@rakerumon desu.

Today, I decided to share with you guys my labor of blood, sweat, tears and love.

Just recently in one of my classes at school which is Humanities, we had a project about art. Our instructor asked us to prepare stuff for painting.

I was excited and a little nervous because I haven't painted in a very long while. I'm not that good with colors and I haven't had the time to practice my drawing skills in about a month or so.

I don't use acrylic paints or any other mediums when I draw. Mostly I'd prefer the monochromatic effect of using pencils so I don't have a good idea on how to maneuver with paint brushes.

She asked us to write the title of our painting before we started. I decided to go with the title "Goodbye" because I was in a hurry. I already sketched an outline of my drawing beforehand to make it easier for me because our time was limited til the end of our 1 ½ hour class.

And here is the outcome..

I didn't plan for it to look like this, but I figured it'd be easy to finish it with a mosaic like style of broken pieces of colorful geometric shapes.

I was supposed to add more detail but the time was up. Still, I liked how my painting turned out.

I hope you guys liked my painting. I plan to post some of my sketches from my sketchbook soon.

As always this is your friendly neighborhood otaku steemian,
