Friends, on the thirteenth day I decided to capture the beauty around me. Today I am going to show you all a unique plant, friends, this plant is called cotton which is planted in most of the houses. It is used a lot in the Aarti plate. And is used in worship in temples.
In our Uttarakhand, Diwali is a festival celebrated in which houses are decorated, most of the houses are decorated with diyas. Where cotton is used. And the people who cultivate cotton also get a lot of profit. Just as you can see the cotton flower now, after some time cotton starts appearing in it. These are plucked and small black seeds emerge inside them, which are used separately. Cotton is such a plant that both its fruit and seeds are useful.
Cotton is used to make clothing, household items, and industrial products. Cotton seeds are used to extract animal feed and oil, and various types of woven fabrics are also made from cotton. Textiles made from cotton are also widely used in Uttarakhand.
