LeafPic is a fluid, material-designed alternative gallery, it also is ad-free and open source under GPLv3 license. Comes with almost similar features of stock gallery.
LeafPic is now available in a beta release on the Play Store, you can join.

Proposal

I would like to suggest a feature for Leaf Mobile App. The app does not have a complete edit menu, I want to add some editing menus like "filter" and "coretan", where in the filter menu there is an effect that can change the color of the image to make it better and in the graffiti menu there is a pen so users can write themselves on top of the image edits.
