This is my entry into @chrisaiki's #marketingsteem slogan/design competition. As I'm not a photographer, I found the photograph on Unsplash.com and was immediately struck by the celebratory feeling of the image.
After a nights sleep the slogan Just Take the Leap came to me as I was looking at the photo this morning. I added both the slogan and the text as specified in the competition using GIMP open source photo editor.
I chose Bodoni MT Black, Heavy font for its bold style and because it seemed to fit well with the steem logo.
I shall be using this image to promote steem on my personal social media accounts on twitter and Facebook.
Let me know what you think of the design in the comments. I was going for a minimalist style and would value any feedback/critique on the work with that in mind.

EDIT: After seeing some feedback, I decided to rework the image a little and came up with this variation where the letters are at the top with a black border to make them pop. Which do you like best? Let me know in the comments :-)
