It is well-known that any Publishing house will ask if your story has been published anywhere. If yes, they will not want to publish your book, even if it is only part of your story. So that critique doesn't stand in your assessment of Dreemport.

You said this in your original comment. This exemplifies why a PG13 blanket ban is crazy to me. There are 100's indie authors (I don't like that term because many Indie authors write within a publishable standard
rd but because of their subject matter, or genre or whatever they're not 'on fashion atm in the publishing industry) on hive, during the 2017 bull run, there were easily more, I don't know how many, but a lot more.

A PG13 standard excludes probably over half of those 'indie' authors.

If you are not using Dreemport, then why do you care what they do? Care enough to leave a long comment complaining about everything. I just do not understand.

If the tone of my comment upsets you I'm sorry, I consider you a friend and I don't want to upset you. But I said something that needed to be said, and I probably should have said it when I originally submitted 'Red Days' a 5000-word series for the Scholar and Scribe Dreemport collab which was excluded. I could have, and was subsequently advised to after the fact, do some extra polishing of that short story, and submit it to a paying fantasy magazine.

There is one place where it says dreemport is PG13 on the website in the learn/about drop-down section. One sentence! It should be made more clear.

Also, this whole comment thread was not inspired by my indignation, but for the reason that the new hive member who chose my short fiction fantasy series to review has most probably been excluded because of my fiction not fitting in with the PG13 policy (again... stated in one sentence in a dropdown menu of a dropdown menu).
