More people need to be proactively promoting the people on Steem doing seriously value-adds for the platform on what is currently a mostly ideological endeavor.

Yeah, I agree big time @drumoperator. I've been a curie curator behind the scenes for a long time, as well as posting only high quality writing on here myself. Tbh, I find that steem is distinctly unforgiving to creative professionals (I'm a writer by trade) like both myself and Nick. Quality is definitely not an indication of rewards on steem. Right now, people will get a lot more attention and reward by going and getting involved with commenting and writing about HF21. The irony being that no one outside of steem would find that content interesting, or even understand it.

Lol, but it's useless pointing any of this out on HF21 post threads, as I've discovered by trying to punch through the noise and cognitive dissonance. People are so emotionally invested in the subject that they're not interested in listening to any opinion that isn't 'for or against'.
