Animation
So, I was looking through some of my old files on my laptop, and I found this old sonic animation I created back in 2014. That was the time when I was learning blender and the ins and outs of the program. I was such a newbie at blender, and didn't know what I was doing (lol), but I found a way to animate this simple animation. It's not my best animation but I wanted to share this with you guys.
Keyframe City

I pretty much just set up the scene which actually took longer than I anticipated. Starting something is always the hardest when I'm working on projects, but after a while the creative juices starts to flow through my head and out to the computer. Texturing the meshes and modeling the objects took a long time also because I was learning those things as I was going through with the project.
I done goofed up on this part
The next thing I was working on was the sky dome. I had to figure out how to emit light from the dome to make it appear that sonic was actually outside and not in a dark box. There were several lights I had to spread through out the scene to get it to look just right. After that, I had to also put an armature into sonic and at the time I was really bad at doing that, so that took a long time as well.
Lastly, the next thing I had to do was render the animation out. I believe it took about 2 hours to process the whole animation. Then I just moved the Mp4 file into After Effects to work on the intro. All I did was add in some motion graphics, put a blur effect to the shapes, and text. Then I had to render that video out too, and it was done done.
So for a 44 second animation
that took 2 days to make, that's animation for ya
