Day 41&42
Hey guys, due to personal circumstances, I couldn't post yesterday. So today I'm doing day 41 and day 42 at once.
Meet this mother dog, her name is Lila and she's 2 years old. Lila is a stray dog and is always scared when we try to petting her. Lila's mother was Tiger. About 5 months ago Tiger gave birth to 6 puppies and all of them, inclusive, Tiger disappeared. No one knows where they gone.
Three weeks ago Lila give birth to 3 cute puppies and yesterday I discovered the place where she was hiding them.
Yesterday I heard the puppies howling so I went on an "Adventure". Going after the howl I saw 3 cute puppies in a bush.
This is a male puppy and I named him Simba. Of all the 3, Simba is the biggest and heaviest also the scaredest one. I do like his paws, very cute. It's like he is wearing socks all the time. Simba also has a heart shape on his nose.
After Simba we have another male puppy named sparky. Sparky looks like Simba, they have a lot in common. Such as the cute paws, the snoot, the brown/black/white face. Of all the 3, Sparky is the bravest. Sparky and I became good friends! He is also the first, of the 3 puppies, I petted.
And then we have snowy. Snowy is girl. She is very cute, strong and brave. When snowy was younger, her paw got stuck in grass stems. Snowy kept growing and the grass kept getting tighter and tighter until there couldn't flow blood to that place of her paw. snowy couldn't eat, drink or move. Today we saw what happened with her and tried to rescue her. First we got rid of all the grass stems, than we took her carefully and put her in a towel. We took her home and gave a warm milk in a baby bottle. After that we cleansed her with hydrogen peroxide. Because it was late and there where no doctors available we couldn't bring Snowy to the vet. We looked at her paw and saw that there was still blood circulating in that part. She also had feeling in that part. My sister, who is studying medicines, tried to splints Snowy's paw. After that we washed Snowy's face. Now she's in a warm place and seems to be fine and healing. Of all the 3 pups I do think that Snowy is the strongest one because of all what happened to her, she is still fighting to walk! Tomorrow we will take snowy to the vet. I hope that she will fully recover and not loose her leg.
