I hope you are super well, this week the #makeupchallenge brings us a rather fun but complicated challenge and that is that making a hyper-realistic makeup to give the effect that an optical illusion requires is not an easy process. For this makeup, although I put all my effort applying layers and layers of shadows on top of the paint, I could not achieve it 100%, however to be my first optical illusion makeup I feel satisfied with the result. the idea of ​​makeup consists of a burning candle that is melting, this same concept was applied to my index finger to give an extra detail, then I show you how I did it.

Proceso | Process

Primero limpie e hidrate mi rostro y con un lápiz delineador realice algunas lineas guías que me ayudarían a determinar hasta donde aplicaría la pintura base. | First clean and hydrate my face and with an eyeliner pencil I made some guide lines that would help me determine how far I would apply the base paint.

Continué aplicando la pintura base y de allí empece a agregar sombra y luces donde fuere necesario, esta fue la parte mas difícil de este maquillaje :( la verdad solo fui agregando sombras sin ningún orden especifico. | I continued applying the base paint and from there I began to add shadow and highlights where necessary, this was the most difficult part of this makeup :( the truth is, I was only adding shadows in no specific order.

En el ojo donde no aplique pintura realice un maquillaje normal sencillo con tonos cálidos y agregue un pequeño delineado negro. | In the eye where you do not apply paint, make a simple normal makeup with warm tones and add a small black outline.

Luego aplique base en el resto del rostro, selle con polvos y con sombra naranja realice el contorno en mejillas y nariz. | Then apply base to the rest of the face, seal with powder and with orange shadow, contour the cheeks and nose.

Por ultimo agregue algunas gotas mas de cera derretida, aplique sombra naranja en los labios para dar sensación de calidez en todo el maquillaje y finalmente hice una pequeña replica de la vela derritiéndose en mi dedo. | Finally I added a few more drops of melted wax, applied orange shadow on the lips to give a feeling of warmth in all the makeup and finally I made a small replica of the melting candle on my finger.

Para realizar este maquillaje utilice: Base, polvo compacto, sombras de ojos dorada, café y naranja, pinturas, delineador en lápiz y liquido, brochas y pinceles.
