I don't write for a living. I'd love to, but I don't make anywhere near enough money. I currently work in Germany in a kitchen, and I'll be doing that until November, when the season ends. Writing is just something I really like doing and a way for me to make a bit of extra income.

I try very hard to write and post regularly because I like it, and because I make some money outside of my job, which helps me take care of some of the responsibilities that I have.

I'd like to freelance and have my own thing, but building something like that takes time and I just don't have it yet. In the context of the article, what I wanted last Monday, when I wrote this, was to relax, after working for almost 10 hours a day, every day, for the entire week. I had other things that required my attention however, including writing articles.

Writing is just something I choose to do because I like it. Sometimes it can be frustrating, but it's worth it.
