The Pfizer vaccine and the Modena vaccine are both mRNA vaccines.
Nearly 95% of people who receive the Modena vaccine develop a red, swollen rash at the site of injection, called the "Modena arm," which often occurs about a week after the first dose, or even all over the body. It is thought that this may be a delayed allergic reaction and that these symptoms usually resolve after 3 to 4 days, with no deaths or serious sequelae.
