Despite it's success, what's the main thing holding Steem/Steemit back?

I think steemit will be soon not unique as many developers are working to make such kind of platform to pay for Proof-of-brain or any other kind of algorithm.
My suggestion is the keep patience for a new platform which will reduce worth of STEEM.
