What is Meditation?
Meditation, yoga or anything else? Psychology has a word - mindfulness. Mindfulness is a phase in the body, where our body maintains its cohesiveness with the brain and gives the body a healthy feeling. This mindfulness basically represents the definition of meditation. Simply put, in Bengal, meditation is a practice of calming and relaxing the human body, mind and brain. It is also called a type of exercise. However, it does not develop body muscles like the other 7 exercises, but rather, this exercise, for a short time, alleviates the mental state of everything and causes the empty brain to become more concentrated. When Windows slows down while running the computer, we do not refresh Windows by right-clicking the mouse, just like meditation works on our body's computer like a refresh button.
Haven't seen the Kung Fu Panda movie? There Po received a special initiation from his kung fu master Shifu, called "Inner Peace." Meditation will likewise help you find your inner peace.
Types of Meditation:
There are different types of meditation. Not all meditations are the same, but they are. Some, like any other method, make one kind of improvement in one meditation body. However, in consideration of everything, meditation is basically two types - Concentration Meditation and Mindfulness Meditation.
Concentration meditation is intended to include the human body psychologically over a particular object. It may be strange activities like controlling the breath, repeated sounds, monitoring the candles or counting the bits. Sounds strange, but in reality they are very effective. This concentration of the brain may seem a bit daunting at the beginning of the practice meditation. It is possible to gradually dominate this meditation.
This kind of meditation influences a large part of the brain. Mindfulness meditation is much deeper than Concentration Meditation. Mindfulness meditation helps to set goals on every moment that goes into our brain. The main purpose of this meditation is not to judge or delay those thoughts, but to improve our body's response to each and every thought. Suppose a great problem has arisen before us. Now what steps we can take to overcome that problem, it has nothing to do with mindfulness meditation. Rather, this meditation will help us figure out how to accept the situation.
Of course, there is no substitute for meditation in student life.
Meditation helps control the body's blood pressure, improves blood circulation, keeps the heart rate up, and maintains respiratory function.
Meditation relieves anxiety, depression, or depression, promotes a feeling of well-being for the body, relieves the mind internally, enriches the mind.
Meditation often cures the human body from diseases like insomnia, migraine, sinusitis, diabetes.
Meditation can be a powerful treatment for getting rid of addiction to various types of drugs. This is why many drug addiction treatment centers are now being taught meditation among patients.
As simple as the question "How to meditate," the answer is a bit difficult. Because meditation is initiated with many aspirations, but keeping up with practice is the biggest challenge. Seeking instant results without meditation for 2-5 days is nothing but stupid. Gradually, meditation has a positive effect on the body, not immediately.
১. Location selection:
Location selection is one of the most important things for meditation. Surely your mind will not be at rest in a dirty or unhealthy place!
When meditating, you should choose clothes that are comfortable for you. If you have clothing problems in the heat of severe winter or heavy sun, then at least meditation will be very difficult to concentrate on.
৩. Time selection:
If you sit for hours like meditation, you will finally see the college bus missed one day! If you do not want to study in such situations, you should first decide exactly how long you want to meditate. ৪. Stretching:
Those who go to the gym regularly, will know the requirements of stretching before any exercise. You should never sit down for exercise without hooting. It loses the true essence of exercise. Likewise before meditation, it is best to warm up.How do I meditate?
One. Sitting upright in a comfortable place, special chairs or cushions can be used for meditation if desired.
Two. Closing your eyes is an important part of meditation. Many times meditation can be practiced with open eyes. But for the inexperienced, meditation should be done without closing one's eyes. Applying too much force should not close the eyes but rather close the eyes naturally.
Three. Breath control is one of the most effective rules of meditation. Your meditation should be like your breath and your breath only. The main purpose of meditation is to follow the breath. Internal images of the brain will help you control your breathing.
Four. Some meditation imposes special conditions on the chant. By saying small mantras in a rumbling tone, we can free our brains from the distractions of the outside world.
Five. Various objects such as candles, crystals, flower petals serve as visual objects of meditation. Looking at these objects in one hand increases the focus capacity of our eyes by a few. These objects have to be looked at slowly, as well as the various movements of the object. The object must be positioned exactly with the eye so that it does not need to bend head to look at the object.
Six. You need to lie down and create sensitive feelings in different parts of your body. For example, let's say you lightly pinch the nails with your toes. After a while you have to lower your legs slightly and repeat this exercise. What kind of feeling that pinch sends to your body or how your body absorbs that feeling is meditation.
Is Meditation Forbidden?
Many say that meditating is forbidden for various religions, especially in Islam. The truth is, for those who think that way, the idea is 5% wrong. As a child, we all read in the teachings of Islam that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) used to often go to Hera Cave and meditate deeply. Although he was away from all the activities of the world for some time, he used to meditate and meditate. It is known that he received this command through various meditations of the Creator. Meditation has been greatly appreciated in modern Islamic ideology. In Buddhism, meditation is perfectly valid in both Hindu and Christian faith.
