Greetings fellow Alien Artisans đź‘˝,
I come in peace to share a recent bizarre illustration experiment. I’ve been translating musical concepts into visual form, and this piece explores one of those ideas with a twist of surrealism.

Concept & Inspiration

This piece was inspired by King Louie from The Jungle Book — an orangutan obsessed with mastering fire. But what if he didn’t just harness it… but became one with it?

Instead of an orangutan, I chose the araguato (howler monkey native to Venezuela) — known for its thunderous roar. Sound is central to this piece's concept, so it made perfect sense to give it the spotlight.

The result? A primal being, not only wielding fire — but born from lava itself.
