One thing I have learnt to do in life is to be grateful for whatever situation that I'm in. There are times when we may feel like something is very terrible, we wasted our time or something won't go on well and at the end of the day, we realize that it was a blessing in disquise. I'm sure this kind of thing has happened to the majority of us and I tell people countless times that God won't make you suffer. Well, things may seem not to be right but God will always be good to us and bless us in a way that we don't even expect.

When I was fifteen, I gained admission into the University. That's actually huge because it is quite rare to see fifteen year old student in the university only if we have so many of them. Then, I used to calculate what age I will graduate from the university including when I will serve my fatherland and also when I will begin to work towards my career. I was thinking that everything will work so fast just the way I have planned it but it did not. I think the Nigerians here will know how crazy the educational sector is especially when it comes to strike and delaying students of their graduation time which I feel happens intentionally.

I attended the Premier University which is the first University in Nigeria and the school is so slow. We had a delay for a whole year without being able to spot what exactly happened. When covid came, we spent a few months at home which was close to a year and I has two years of delay already. And when I finished my University program, I went to study acting for film in a film academy which lasted for a year. It was very crazy because I expected myself to be done with the University but what was it? It was a blessing in disguise.

God knows I had plans for myself but I don't know how to go about it and my plans requires me to have a reasonable amount of money. If I had finished my University program during the days that I used to go to the club almost everyday and served my fatherland as at then, there will be nothing left for me so I just felt that God decided to wait till now that I'm growing older and more serious with my plans before I begin to make money.

Presently, I am working in a private organization and one of the most popular schools in Nigeria (Chrisland school) and apart from the allowance paid to me from the federal government, my workplace pays me my monthly salary which I have never touched. I have been serving for six months now, I know how much money I'm earning and I have never spent a dime out of the money.

I'm really working towards my career financially and mentally.
Indeed, the delay was a blessing in disguise so whatever happens to you in life, take it and see how you can make the most out of it. Make sure you find out how you can bring out the good from the bad that has happened to you.
