Why someone would buy steem..

Without the concern that steemit could become a huge thing, there are some doubts and thoughts. It's highly desired, if I should be wrong or you have thoughts or corrections, that you post these here.

For sure steem need to be bought by the people in the future, to avoid a high inflation.

As far as I understand can this be achieved through the following points:

• Building a market where users can directly pay with steem, that steem is known and accepted by the users and that the bloggers won't drop steem directly to the marked
• With the growing community people or also organizations could become interested in steem power

But the question is; why has the inflation to be so high? Wouldn't there be a huge value, if investors also would get attracted? At times, where bitcoin is in the newspapers, couldn't lead the interest from investors and cryptofans to a great publicity for such an interesting project?
