In the Philippines there are numerous household belongs to "Informal settlers". From the word squat, this was often use to have a quick understanding of people who lived there. The national government gave them housing program so they can live in a better place with spacious and decent living.
For today, I just wanted to share a miniature house that can be look liked in informal settler houses. Making home from old and rusted roof, woods or anything from scratch was used. It was quite interesting making roof to have a look like this roof.
This was an unfinished project of my niece and fiance. Originally they wanted to look it more devastated but they have limited resources since they built it during lockdown.
I liked that this house has second floor and and a little terrace. The roof was my favorite detail and the woods that they used was from our home. Just tear some parts and then put it together. They put a mini store just to add some details.
The side view and the back of this house got details that was seen in a common houses in informal settlers. My hand are bigger than the whole size of this house. There's still missing parts of it and especially the platform.
We wanted to finished this project and create more this year. Thanks for dropping by and keep safe ❤
To be continued...
