Hello everyone.welcome to my blog.i hope you all are doing good and enjoying mental peace. I am inactive these days probably because of weather. Winters are finally here and I am busy shopping for university and it's suddenly very cold. I started learning knitting but there are not many tutorials for beginners. When j started learning crochet from YouTube there were many beginner friendly tutorials and I could learn crochet because of them. I am trying to find a reliable channel from where I can learn knitting basics and then to higher level. I thought I am not able to knit anything I should crochet something to post and share with you all. So I decided to crochet a strawberry 馃崜.
The things you need to make this are pretty basic. You need yarn of two colors, tapestry needle 馃, scissors and polyester. once made a strawberry for my bag using puff stitches. It was so pretty and everyone in university loved it. But I don't know how it fell from my bag and I tried to find it but I couldn't. I remember that moment and decided to make a strawberry but this time I used single crochet. Because it is more stronger than puff strawberry.
I started with 6sc in the mgr and then 1sc and 1 inc in round 2. Then I went doing increases and sc in the next rows. When I made the strawberry for the first time I had not the same colored yarn. I made it using pink yarn. But this time thanks to my sister I have exact strawberry shade red colored yarn. That make it even more beautiful.
I realize during knitting that knitting is difficult than crochet. But if you want to make keychains and this kind of stuff croxhet is best. Knitting is for mufflers and cardigans. When I reached almost the end of strawberry I stuffed it with polyester and than make decreases. After closing it I made leaf part. To make that I made 10 sc in mgR and than 6ch , 1slip st, sc and 2hdc and slip st in next st. I repeated this pattern to make the leaf. And after completing it I attached it with the strawberry using UHU.
Then I made the strawberry texture using needle and white yarn. And when it was completed I decided to make daisy so that the keychain look more detailed. I first made two daisies they were pretty but they were not giving vide. Because of the key ring. There were not enough rings. So I decided to use only one daisy. And I turned out so good.
