Hey everyone! How are you? Today I want to tell you about my new purchase, but first, a little background. Initially, I had planned (and still plan) to buy a very different phone, one capable of meeting all the needs of the projects I have in mind. My goal was to get an Honor 7 Lite, which is a mid-to-high-range phone. However, even though I had been saving up for it, I suddenly had an emergency. The phone I was using at the time, a ZTE, was malfunctioning too much. It would freeze unexpectedly, sometimes it would crash from certain apps I was using, and sometimes I had to restart it. So, I had no choice but to buy a temporary phone while I start saving up for the phone I want. >¡Hola, gente de internet! ¿Cómo están? Hoy quiero hablarles de mi nueva adquisición, pero antes les daré un poco de contexto, inicialmente yo tenía planeado (bueno, y aún pienso hacerlo) comprarme un celular muy distinto, capaz de suplir todas las necesidades que requieren los proyectos que tengo en mente. Mi objetivo era entonces adquirir un Honor 7 lite, el cuál es de gama media alta, sin embargo, a pesar de que yo ya venía reuniendo dinero para tal fin, de pronto me surgió una emergencia, el teléfono que estaba usando hasta entonces, un ZTE ya estaba fallando demasiado, se quedaba colgado de repente, a veces se salía solo de determinada aplicación que yo estaba usando en el momento, y a veces yo tenía que reiniciarlo, así que no me quedó más remedio que comprar un teléfono de emergencia, en lo que comienzo a juntar el dinero para el celular que quiero.

However, I've been testing this one and I think it's very, very good in terms of quality/price. The only downside is that I feel merchants in Venezuela take advantage of customers, speculating on prices to the extreme. For example, not content with offering two different prices (depending on whether you pay in cash dollars or the equivalent in local currency), they also raise the price. It's absurd, considering that the very purpose of dollarization is to avoid having to raise product prices because the dollar's value is already constantly rising. So I realized it was more expensive compared to when my sister and I went to buy our mom's (which is the same model).

Es algo absurdo, partiendo del hecho de que precisamente el objetivo de la dolarización es no tener que subir los precios de los productos porque ya el precio del dólar sube por si solo constantemente. But anyway, speaking specifically about my new phone, as I was saying, I think it's great. To start with, I really like its 16-megapixel selfie camera and 48-megapixel main camera. That's a big change since my old ZTE only had a 16-megapixel main camera and I think the selfie camera was 5 megapixels. It also has a 5000 mAh battery with super-fast charging and it lasts a really long time 🤗.

>Pero en fin, hablando específicamente de mi equipo nuevo, como les decía, me parece muy bien, para iniciar, me gusta mucho su cámara de 16 megapíxeles (cámara de selfie) y 48 de cámara principal, eso es un gran cambio ya que mi ZTE tenía apenas 16 megapíxeles de cámara principal y de selfie creo que tenía 5. It also has very good memory, excellent storage capacity and is expandable, the screen is super wide and has very defined colors, so I love how my favorite mobile games look on it 😍 I also love how TikTok, Instagram and YouTube videos look.

And if you'd like more information about the device: it's an Orbic Mayra (it's a relatively unknown brand, but I've seen good reviews and I've been happy with it). It costs around $70, at least here in Venezuela; I don't know the price in other countries. I think it's an affordable device and it does its job perfectly.
