The big question these days is whether or not call of duty and it's hugely grown franchise has become a sell out in recent years and in doing so become a game which many original fans may call Dead now, this is mainly due to the most recent of games created by the call of duty franchise including; advanced warfare, ghosts and infinitive warfare, with even some fans disappointed in the modern warfare remastering.
It all began to go uphill from CoD world at war for the cod franchise as it enlightened on a new gaming way, a 12 player first person shooter in which you work as a team or lone wolf to run and gun on the multiplayer maps against other gamers. This then led to the modern warfare beginning which turned out to be some of the best games ever created in the fps category and this also led shortly to the much renowned ( in my opinion ) most important game of the franchise cod black ops which totally dominated the fps category at the time of release, all was going so well then one year a cod ghosts dropped which unfortunately didn't seem like the cod franchise but just a normal fps , this is where many believe the cod brand began going wrong and then yet another even worse mistake cod took the franchise on a run down the futuristic path ( even more so than black ops 2) and yet again this needed up badly with ,any disliking the game, the gameplay was not too bad but when they began releasing supply drops and weapon variations they began to sell out the original gaming experience by unbalancing the game with weapon variants which would only be accomplished by mainly spending a ton of cash on supply drops.
Call of duty has now got infinite warfare out with an add on of modern warfare remastered however each have also ended up sell outs alike advanced warfare and so I ask ' has the call of duty franchise seen better days and is the franchise's time up among the gaming community making way for a new game to appear in its place ?
Is call of duty world war 2 it's last home of resurrecting the once much loved franchise.
