I've been playing this game regularly for over a year. I started with a basic Zombie Death deck (Necroscepter + Cursed Obelisks) and played just for fun but as soon as I accidentally hit Mythic rank with this ~15$ deck I figured out it had earned more than the value of my cards.
I've dared to invest more than $100 and tried to build some stable deck to play Mythic rank daily. I ended up with the light deck which I played with for about a year long.
During these days I have been buying the cards and trying different decks, but I've always come back to the mentioned Light deck. Lysander's Spear is still the most expensive card I own.
As I progressed with the game and with the holding of GODS, I also continued with buying more and more cards. Not with a particular reason. When the last expansion came (Tides of Fate), the collection value grew, the same as the GODS price did. My current Collection Value is ~650$.
I think it's finally a good time to stop experimenting and go for the most value. My favorite deck is not very useful for a Mythic rank, so I decided to switch it for a Zoo War (what a surprise!). Except for a Sharpen, I did have all the cards, so it was the obvious choice
What's important, this deck is played on Mythic rank, which I want to get into with the highest priority. Right now, I'm still getting familiar with the play War, and I'm jumping between G+ and D ranks. This gives me around 4-5 GODS daily, which is around $2 for each day in GODS.
I suppose I won't do more than twice as much, but even that would be a nice reward for playing a game I enjoy. There's a slight itch to create a pack from the recent video of CopperPitch. But hopefully, it would not be necessary.
To summarize, I would like to earn some crypto, don't invest much in the cards, and get something back out of the game.
I have noticed that there is quite a lot of traffic regarding GU, so I'd be glad to see the comments with any events and hints on how to get the most from playing, and of course, the strategy for how to be a better player :).
Question on the end: I noticed that there is a possibility of staking, is it worth it or do you prefer to keep the funds in your wallet in eth?
