The Malec贸n holds a great meaning for the people of Havana鈥攁nd I would contend for all Cubans鈥攅specially.
In their free time, many people have always gone to the Malec贸n to walk, fish, converse, or just savor the cool wind on sweltering days.
I am exposing some pictures I took many years ago. In the first, a mother is chatting animatedly with her daughter while sitting on the Malec贸n. The following two display fishermen one from land and another from a vessel near the shore. At last, you could watch a whole family enjoying the ocean breeze together

El Malec贸n tiene un gran significado para los habaneros, y me atrever铆a a decir que para todos los cubanos, especialmente.
En su tiempo libre, muchos siempre han ido al Malec贸n a pasear, pescar, conversar o simplemente disfrutar de la brisa fresca en los d铆as de calor sofocante.
Les comparto algunas fotos que tom茅 hace muchos a帽os. En la primera, una madre charla animadamente con su hija sentadas en el Malec贸n. Las dos siguientes muestran a pescadores, uno desde la orilla y otro desde una embarcaci贸n cerca de la costa. Finalmente, se puede ver a una familia entera disfrutando de la brisa marina.
