Photofeed landscape contest .:. Gloomy December

I rarely manage to photograph the early morning — clear and bathed in sunlight, let alone having an interesting landscape — since its 100% chance I’m still in bed at that hour. That December day seven years ago was an exception. Overnight, the temperature had plummeted; the moisture in the air froze and settled onto the grass and leaves, the sky cleared. Fantastic light visited me, and happily stayed on my (digital) film. I borrowed wide-angle lens with me on that day, not my usual telephoto; it also added to the capture.
