I am from the UK in the Essex County and I've lived there all my life. When not travelling, my time is spent at home working and seeing friends and family. I work in a nursing home and have done for a few years, I absolutely love it :)

I first started blogging over on Steemit, but recently heard of Hive and so here I am! I can't really say I have a particular taste when it comes to writing as I enjoy most things, it's more of 'what I'm in the mood for at the time' kind of thing. In the past this has usually consisted of poetry, travel and nature, oh and a bungy jump! I'm a bit of a thrill seeker, I like to challenge myself and to over come my own mind - I could talk all day about that topic! I find the mind / spirituality / psychology extremely interesting, and fascinating.

I will say though, the vast majority of my posts consist of travelling, and 99.9% of which are to South Africa!

Oh yes, the wine tour! Lots of fun had as you can imagine, haha!

I consider myself a free spirit, as cliché as it may sound, but who doesn't love a good cliché! I'm not one for social conformity/expectations and all that materialistic nonsense (call me 'out the box' but I'm a bit quirky like that), instead I chose to be true to myself and 'do what makes my heart happy' - life's too short not to. Anywhooo... there's a little bit of an insight for you as to who I am on that front haha!

I'm a big music fan, I don't think there's a time in the day where I don't have something playing! Life without music is like bacon without eggs! And of course, with the music comes the dancing, which I'm also a big lover of, I'm not sure others would agree ;) Although, fun fact, I was a Majorette for 15 or so years!
