Obviously there will be more questions when you check-in. Here's a photo of a rental our family chose last year. It's location was three miles from Charlottesville, Virginia.
The canoes were ours to use, and the owner's property was surrounded with various fences, mostly to keep the cows on the other side. Oh, and Yes. That is a zip line over the pond.
The owner was not there when we arrived but left instructions on the door. The four rooms were complete with linens, magazines, tourist paraphernalia. It was a small apartment like setting complete with a stove/oven. The best part was that the cupboards were filled with a surprisingly amount of food and late-night snacks. I even had a cold beer!
It was my first experience with a short-term rental. Our two days rental were unexpectedly fun, comfortable and comparatively inexpensive. Our family has plans to return.
