It's bad enough to know that the body parts you dissected and examined during medical training were treated with disrespect amid horrific conditions, but then to learn that the grisly remains were not 'clean' tissues, but often-times riddled with disease including HIV and hepatitis.
Arthur Rathburn, 63, of Grosse Point, Michigan was convicted of transporting hazardous waste, wire fraud, and lying to federal agents. The agents who stormed his medical lab, if you dare call it that, were beyond disgusted to find full freezers of body parts with flesh stuck together. (I didn't get much further into the story because I was about to eat dinner.)
Since I've been considering changing my last will and testament to include a section of instructions on my remains once I pass on - I'll be sure to change it to " Cremation please."
