Each of your photos are indeed, beautiful. It's strange how we know that, isn't it? It's impossible to explain why they're beautiful, but we know they are.
Yes, we could attempt to be reductionist and talk about symmetry and fractals and such ... but that's weak tea and everyone knows it. Beauty is an emergent property and emergence is, perhaps, the closest thing we have to magic.
While I am an infinitely curious fellow, I realized some time ago that quite often the attempt to explain a phenomenon, ruins it. Like learning how a magician does his tricks ... the insight destroys the sensation. Sure, it was never really magic ... but you knew that anyway. So why not just let the thing marinate in its mystery ... and just let it be beautiful?
I suspect that a lot of people would be happier, or at least less miserable, if they could just live with saying, "I don't know."
