I was SO excited for this movie when I was a kid.
I was absolutely crushed when she was portrayed as a blonde. There weren't any redhead princesses and I was so attached to the books that I felt betrayed. Also - it was clear they didn't really care about either the original story nor the quality of the animation, which they could have done so, so much better.
I wish Rankin Bass had gotten it instead.
