A few years ago I was working at my dads printing house on a mechanical knife machines that cut through papers and books. There was one side with a treadmill that took the paper and the other side also had a treadmill where the paper exited and I was on that one.
The treadmill was made up of some cloth and it would usually move slightly to the right and I would have to pull on it and put it back in the place (the middle).
I saw that it was time to readjust the treadmill and I tell my coworker from the other side of the machine to stop putting in new batches of paper and I saw something what I thought was a nod and I went to adjust. The treadmill then started moving with my fingers and it started carrying me, I panicked and punched that red instant stop button so hard.
Nothing bad happened, but I still have PTSD from that situation, lol.
