My Favourite Fictional Character is Belle from đĩTale as old as timeđĩ Song as old as rhymeđĩ Beauty and The Beast.
BELLE is by far one of the most technical, creative, and aesthetical Disney character.
SHORT STORY
To better understand who BELLE is and why she's my favourite fictional character, we'll need a little background leading to her rise.
An old woman pays a visit to a young king one night and offers him a rose in exchange for spending the night in the castle. The king becomes rude because he is repulsed by her ugliness, which causes the old woman to expose herself, and it turns out she is a gorgeous enchantress. He and his household are cursed and transformed into hideous beast and lifeless objects. With the condition that he must first learn to love and be loved in return or forever stay a monster.
Then comes BELLE, a smart young female protagonist. A woman who is regarded weird, yet intelligent, and unrelated to most women in society.
WHY BELLE IS MY FAVOURITE
I adore BELLE for a variety of reasons.
đShe's a daydreamer, which means she's imaginative and sensitive. BELLE is a very simple down-to-earth character who felt and knew she didn't belong where she was, small and insignificant, so she read a lot to expose herself to the walls outside hers.
đGrowing up I really liked BELLEs' since she knew how to love and attract people. She was honest and sincere. She was also generous with her time, respectful, and kind. She loved her family too.
đBelle inspired me to always look beyond the surface and discover beauty in everyone and everything. Beauty is only skin deep, and you should treat others how you would like to be treated. This will make you lovely on the inside, which is what matters.
Hence, "Don't judge a book by it's cover," as the saying goes. BELLE did this, and in the end, she was able to save not only the Prince from eternally being a Monster, but also the entire kingdom.
